Perrins and McCorkell Flying High in Monte Carlo
EPT Monte Carlo is down at the business end with 24 players left to eye up the €1.7 million first prize. All the remaining players are guaranteed at least €50,000 and we have two UK players left, both flying high at the top end of the chip counts when they return today.

Craig McCorkell of London is a 23 year old cash game specialist who recently cashed in EPT San Remo and is currently 5th in chips overall. Just ahead of him, 2nd in chips, is Pokerstars Italian Poker Tour champion Matt Perrins of Manchester. Perrins will be looking to emulate his old school friend Jake Cody by taking down an EPT title and is in very good shape to do just that later on today.

PartyPoker Premier League Teaser
The PartyPoker and Pokernews sponsored Premier League IV is going to be aired on Channel 4 later on this year and to wet the appetite, a pretty awesome looking trailer has been released. We have to say, this show looks really good if its anything like the trailer, which really captures the tension, drama and occasional sillyness of the show (Warning, there is a bit of swearing):

"The PartyPoker.com Premier League IV is quite simply the greatest poker show ever made," said Matchroom Sport managing director Eddie Hearn. "The World's best players and biggest entertainers playing deep stack poker and battling it out for $1.5million. The play was on another level to anything I ever seen before and the intensity of the competition and growing rivalries make the PLP compelling viewing. The World is in for a real treat in 2010."

Speaking of PartyPoker, Pokernews is proud to say we have one of the most exclusive promotions around with them. The amazing $50 NO DEPOSIT sign up bonus, exclusive to players who sign up to PartyPoker via UK Pokernews.
