Big Names for UKIPT Nottingham
The Pokerstars UK & Ireland Tour stop at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham next month looks set to be one of the biggest poker events of the year, with three day ones and the potential for around 1000 runners. Some big UK players have already confirmed for the event which begins May 12 -17.

Obviously the usual crew of Team Pokerstars Players including JP Kelly, Vicky Coren, Jude Ainsworth and local hero Julian Thew. Football legend Teddy Sheringham is also confirmed for tne event, as is TV Poker presenter Michelle Orpe and woman of the moment, EPT San Remo champion Liv Boeree.

As previously mentioned there is a packed side event schedule incluyding a 6 max, womens and bounty events. The only place to qualify for this landmark UK poker event is Pokerstars.

UK Players Burst Bubble in Monte Carlo
Speaking of Pokerstars, the bubble has burst at EPT Monte Carlo and with 116 players remaining, there are a handful of top UK players still in the mix.

IPT Champion Matt Perrins is 4th in chips overall and will be eyeing up the first prize of €1.7 million alongside his UK poker peers; EPT Champion Vicky Coren, Irish Open champions Neil Channing and James Mitchell and footballer Teddy Sheringham making another respectable cash in an EPT amongst the British players remaining.
