The UK Poker Profile - Michael Greco 0001

Michael Greco was first known to most of us as Eastenders heartthrob Beppe di Marco, he was definitely the TV highlight of the evening in our house for about four years (my mother and I obviously having control of the remote). So when poker players started to see him about on the poker circuit, a lot were sceptical.

But other peoples opinions didn't hold him back. Greco has appeared in many televised tournaments including, Poker Million, World Speed Poker Open, Monte Carlo Millions and PartyPoker.com World Open. He also played for team Italy in the PartyPoker.com Football & Poker Legends Cup and finished 1st in the GUKPT £1000 NLHE event for £97,680.

He started out playing ring games at the Grosvenor Victoria casino in London (better known as 'the Vic') and has gone on to prove himself to be a more than capable and impressive tournament player. He's made 9 major cashes this year alone and we still have two months to go! Greco's biggest cash this year being $248,855, when back in June he finished 3rd in the WSOP $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event in Vegas, this was his second WSOP final table and he also went on to cash in the main event this year. He is currently sponsored by Littlewoods Poker.

To date Greco has made nearly $900,000 in live tournament winnings. With his consistency in live tournaments and his ability to be constantly improving, I predict that we will see plenty more big wins from Michael Greco.
