PKR Partners with Xhilarate

PKR have announced a partnership with poker massage therapists Xhilarate. This is the glamorous team of massage girls you may have seen at the WSOPE and the GUKPT. They will be making their PKR debut at Poker in the Park this week and will available in the Poker Dome for a massage as little as £1 a minute.

Marketing Manager Erika Schwartz said, "Nothing quite compares to the glamour and style of the Xhilarate girls and their massages. We believe they fit in perfectly with our image and will provide some much needed relief and refreshment to our players when playing away from the computer screens and on the live circuit."

Focusing on the neck, back and shoulders, Xhilarate massages employ highly rated eastern techniques such as Shiatsu, Ayurveda, Japanese, Thai and Indian Head Massage. The subtly applied treatments never disrupt players' concentration at the table, using gentle manipulations and pressure points to alleviate stress. Players are left energised and rejuvenated with all treatments applied through clothing and without the need for oils

Liv Boeree Moves to UltimateBet

In what is known as a sideways promotion in the business world, UK player and poker boxing champion Liv Boeree has moved away from Absolute Poker to join the UltimateBet team of sponsored pros, alongside Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke.

It is quite fitting, after all she did start her poker career in the reality TV show UltimatePoker.com Showdown in 2004 where she was coached by Annie Duke and earnt the respect of Phil Hellmuth. "It's an honour to play with the two people who helped launch my poker career," stated Liv Boeree. "Annie and Phil are two of my favourite players so to sit on the same team as them is a bit of a surreal experience but one I'm definitely proud of."
