Praz Bansi wins Five Star World Classic Event
GUKPT and WSOP winner Praz Bansi is on one hell of a heater out at the Five Star World Classic in Vegas. The UK player had already made two final tables in the festival and last week went one better when he won the $5,000 event for $133,380. He had his work cut out too, as the final table included Justin Bonomo and WSOP final table start Scott Montgomery. This result means that Bansi has nearly reached the $1 million mark in tournament earnings and continues the year of dominance by members of the Hit Squad.

PRWeb Bans Online Gambling Content
An odd but potentially damaging blow to the online gambling industry now, as news distribution service PRWeb has been issued a Cease and Desist order from the State of Washington to stop any content related to online gambling. PRWeb is located in Washington State and they have to comply with Washington State law, which currently bans online gambling. This also means that UK based online gambling news will no longer be distributed either.
Many online poker rooms regularly use PRWeb, including Full Tilt, Titan and Everest Poker.
Prince Harry spotted with Poker Presenter......Again!
One of the most prevalent things about poker in 2009 is that it is repeatedly finding itself into mainstream news, admittedly at times rather tenuously, this time it involves the Royal Family. Prince Harry has been furthering his bad boy image and has been spotted with a potential love interest, in the form of poker presenter Caroline Flack. Flack was a former presenter of the European Poker Tour and was introduced to Harry by another former EPT presenter Natalie Pinkman, whom he was also linked to a few years ago.
So watch out Kara Scott, looks like you are next.
