$45,000 in PokerNews Cup Freerolls at Pokerstars
PokerStars has again joined forces with PokerNews to provide players with a massive $45,000 in PokerNews Cup freerolls. Players will be given the chance to win one of nine $5,000 packages in three monster freerolls. Qualification for these three events opens on Saturday and continues through to the end of September. So all players will have enough time to get involved in the mega $25,000 freeroll and two $10,000 PokerNews Cup Freerolls.
Every $5,000 package consists of entry to the $3,000AUD PokerNews Cup Australia Main Event, six nights accomodation at the high quality Crown Promenade Hotel and $1500 cash to help with travel and expenses. All winners also get to attend exclusive Team PokerNews functions and receive Team PokerNews merchandise.
The first of these massive freeroll events is a $10,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Freeroll. It takes place on Wednesday the 19th of September at 15:00 EDT. To be eligible for this freeroll you need to download PokerStars from one of our UK PokerNews links and register a new account. After you make a deposit all you need to do is earn 300 Frequent Player Points (FPPs) between September the 1st and September the 14th. If you meet the criteria a ticket will be issued in your account that you can then use to enter the tournament. The top two finishers in this freeroll will each receive a $5000 PokerNews Cup Australia package.
The second freeroll is another $10,000 event. With the top two players again receiving a $5,000 package. The tournament is taking place on Wednesday the 3rd of October at 15:00 EDT. Again, this is an exclusive event. Players must download PokerStars from a link at PokerNews and accumulate 300 FPPs. This time the points need to be earnt between September the 15th and September the 30th.
The third freeroll is the MONSTER $25,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Freeroll. This event is taking place on the Saturday the 6th of October at 15:00 EDT. This is also an exclusive package for players that download PokerStars through out PokerNews links. To qualify for this event players will need to collect 1000 FPPs during the month of September. Again, if you become eligible you will receive a ticket for the tournament.
