We are not yet halfway into the World Series of Poker but the chances are a few of you that do not have a ticket to Vegas may have had your fill of hearing about it! Fear not, the summer is but young and Ladbrokes Poker is here to help!
How does a $2,500 all-expenses-paid weekend in the Canary Islands sound? Poker on tap and expenses all paid up? Great! Read on.
A single 3-day event under the heading of The Spanish Poker Championship takes place from 28th to 30th July on the sunny island of Gran Canaria, at the Gran Casino Costa Meloneras.
Ladbrokes Poker have been running satellites and super-satellites for about a month now but there are still opportunities to win the $2,500 package, starting tonight! If you cannot afford a direct buy-in to tonight’s super-satellite, there are smaller satellites running every day from tomorrow playing into the main satellite being held next week on Thursday, 20th July.
These are your options:
To make tonight’s super-satellite, you have to pay directly into it at a cost of $250 + $20. This begins at 20.30 BST and is a Freezeout No Limit Hold’em Tournament starting with 2,000 chips and playing at 15-minute blind levels. One in every ten players will qualify for the $2,500 Canaries package.
From tomorrow and every day until 19th July, your choices are wide:
At 15.40 BST each day, there is a $5 + 50c sub-satellite which enables you to qualify for a daily final. For every $27.50 in the prize pool, one player moves on to the daily final, that is, about 1 in 5 players. These $5 sub-satellites start with 1,500 chips and 10 minute blind levels.
At 16.40 and 17.40 BST each day, there are two $5 + 50c Turbo Rebuy sub-satellites again enabling you to qualify for the daily final. For every $27.50 in the prize pool, one player moves on to the daily final. These Turbo Rebuys start with 1,000 chips, a 30 minute unlimited rebuy period and 3 minute blind levels!
At 19.35 BST each day, there is a Second Chance $5 + 50c Express sub-satellite which enables you to qualify for the daily final. Once again, for every $27.50 in the prize pool, one player moves on to the daily final. These $5 Express sub-satellites start with 100 chips, have 1 minute blind levels and 1 rebuy in the first 5 minutes.
At 20.30 BST (Friday 14th to Wednesday 19th July), the daily final is held. If you qualified from one of the $5 satellites, you are in. If not, you can pay $25 + $2 to enter directly. This is a Rebuy Tournament and you will start with 1,500 chips, with 15 minute blind levels. There is one hour of unlimited $25 rebuys plus one Add-on at the break after one hour. One seat for every $270 in the prize pool will be available in the weekly final to be held on 20th July. As for tonight’s Super-satellite, one in ten players will win a $2,500 package to Gran Canaria!
Each Ladbrokes package of $2,500 comprises a $500 tournament buy-in, $500 for one Re-buy and/or Add-on and $1,500 for flight and accommodation at either the H10 Playa Meloneras Palace or Gran Hotel Lopesan Costa Meloneras, two of the most luxurious complexes on the island.
Time to get the summer wear ready!
