Deuce to 7 Triple Draw, Rules of Triple Draw Poker Rules

Deuce to Seven Triple Draw is about getting the worst possible hand (Aces only count as highest and not as lowest card).

At the start of every hand, every player is dealt 5 cards. As you could have guessed by the name, there are 3 drawing rounds, during which players can trade between one and 5 cards.

Straights and flushes are seen as "good hands", so a hand like (2-Diamonds) (3-Hearts) (4-Hearts) (5-Hearts) (6-Clubs) is an absolute loser in this Deuce to Seven Triple Draw. A Hand like (A-Diamonds) (Q-Hearts) (10-Spades) (9-Clubs) (6-Spades) would be the winning hand in this case.
2-7 Nut Hand
The best possible hand a player can get is (2-Hearts) (3-Spades) (4-Hearts) (5-Spades) (7-Clubs) with at least two different suits. The next best hand is (2-Hearts) (3-Spades) (4-Hearts) (6-Clubs) (7-Clubs), again with at least two different suits. This hand is often referred to as "number 2", just like (2-Clubs) (3-Spades) (5-Diamonds) (6-Clubs) (7-Clubs) is called "number 3". Basically the hand rankings for Deuce to Seven are the exact opposite of the ones in Texas Hold'em.

Deuce to Seven Triple Draw is played with a maximum of 6 players. Just like Texas Hold'em, the game is played with a dealer button, a small blind and a big blind. Every player receives five cards and the first betting round begins. The betting starts with the player left of the big blind, and every player has the option to call, raise or fold.

Betting
Deuce to Seven Triple Draw has the same betting structure as Fixed Limit Texas Hold'em. During the first two betting rounds the maximum bet is the amount of the small blind. So in a game with blinds of 10/20, you can bet/raise by 10 for the first two rounds and bet/raise by 20 in the last round.

However, the game can also be played as Pot Limit or No Limit.
