I like to call with small bets with small pairs. If they hit it's money time and if not, they're easy to let go.

I normally lead out with like 1/3 to 2/3 of the pot.

First of All u dont wanna give away a free flush draw or a straight draw, because then all your money is in on the turn and u will be behind,

Second of all your opponent might of hit a to pair or QJ/QK (88 is also possible), i presume AQ would of been raised slightly preflop. U will either get called of or reraised depending on the size of your bet and the need for your opponent to protect is hand.

SO BET BET BET Tongue

I would also lead the flop, because you probably dont want to see a club or a Jack.

1 fold, Hero calls 20, 1 fold, The_realbird calls 20, rlient calls 20, 2 folds, Bengals1957c checks

Flop: {q-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {3-Spades} (93, 4 players)
Bengals1957c bets 140, Hero raises to 280, 1 fold, rlient goes all-in 1450, Bengals1957c folds, Hero calls 1170, rlient says "nh"

Turn: {4-Clubs} (3133, 2 players)

River: {2-Diamonds} (3133, 2 players)
rlient shows: {k-Clubs} {k-Hearts}
Hero shows: {3-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}

I didn't want to drive the other players out of the pot on the flop so I raised minimum then called the push.

The moral of the story, Don't slowplay KK!!
