Which is better, a small field or large field? % payout is the same but of course the large fields' payout is larger.

(A-Hearts)(A-Spades)Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.(A-Diamonds)(A-Clubs)

I think they both have their own merits larger is obviously good because of the prizepool but if u get too large it could end up that u have to take too many risks just to stay in that you wouldnt need to take in a smaller game. I think it depends on lots of things, starting chip stack, game, quality of players etc...

Ok, I'll ask it differently....which is easier to:

1. Get ITM?

2. Win?

LOL the answer to that is quite clearly smaller, is it not? Thats surely like saying is it easier to come first in a marathon against one person or 50000

SMALL FIELDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love em anything from 100 to 300 ppl is a great tourney online if u ask me.

Bigger tournaments like peach allready said require u to not get unlucky so many times it becomes unlikely to score high in the short run.

For instance winning a sunday million (this was like 2 years ago so probably even longer now) would on average cost u 14 years. For me thats a bit to long term to aim for.

I feel that getting into the money is a lot easier with a bigger field, but then again u only win about 20%-50% of ur buy-in back. going deep where the money gets interesting is a lot harder and winning is close to impossible when playing against 2,500 other players.

I definitely focus on smaller fields now where i can actually aim for some final tabels

Here's a good example:

PokerStars WSOP Qualifier-$650 with 20 seat Guaranteed--probably a small field but only 20 seats.

PokerStars WSOP Qualifier-$370 with 200 seats Guaranteed--probably a huge field but 200 seats.

In which do you have the better chance to win a seat?

I believe in the PokerStars WSOP Qualifier-$650 with 20 seat Guaranteed--probably a small field but only 20 seats.

Only good thing about large fields, is the amount of fish that have qualified,

but then again would u rather play 200 good players or 700 good players (out of 7000)
