jeff lisandro The Pokerstars EPT London has shown once again that it is not playing second fiddle to the WSOPE this year, not by a long shot. Its only gone and smashed its own attendance record, as well as the new London one set by the £1000 event at the WSOPE, to become the biggest ever UK tournament. 731 players, more than 100 more than last year, played in days 1a and 1b to make this the biggest UK event ever. All of which makes a prize pool of £3,540,500 and a massive first prize of £850,000.

318 players have made it through to day two, with a whole host of big names remaining in the field.
Unibet Poker
Barry Shulman, the Devilfish, JP Jelly, Karl Mahrenholz, Ivan Demidov, John Juanda, Alexander Kravchenko, Eric Seidel, Chris Moorman, JC Tran, Roland De Wolfe, Teddy Sheringham and Stuart Fox all amongst the notables coming back today. They will all be hot on the heels of WSOP player of the year Jeff Lisandro in 2nd place and overall chip leader Nikolai Senninger of Germany.

Join us on our world class Live Updates to see who makes it to day 3.

EPT Side Event Results
EPT London has been offering some fantastic side events before and during the London main event, which have arguably been much better structurally and innovatively than those offered by the WSOPE. These include the high rollers event, several six max events (Why are there not more live six max events in the world?) and the European 8 Game Championships, which was one by some up and coming Australian chiropractor called Joe Hachem:joe hachem
