Duvall, York and Akenhead in the Final 64 of the WSOP Main Event

akenhead Three UK players remain out the final 64 players in the 2009 WSOP Main Event, with at least $90,000 guaranteed for everyone else that remains. James Akenhead was looking to continue the fine run of form that saw him up with the chip leaders for most of this event, but he got off to a bumpy start. It doesn't help when a chipped up Phil Ivey is at your TV table and Akenhead dropped over a million in the first few hours. He has, however, recovered and ended the day with 1.6 million.

We don't know much about Adam York from Bristol, other than his only ranking cash was in this event last year, a deep finish in 114th place for $41,816. He has already beaten that score this time round and with over 2 million chips is in good shape to make a real name for himself.

But the current UK chip daddy is veteran Jeff Duvall, who is 14th overall with just under 4 million chips. Duvall is one of the older players left in the field but will certainly be out to prove poker isn't a young mans game. He specialises in all forms of poker and has made WSOP HORSE, PLO and PLO8 final tables in the past. He also most recently came 2nd in the GUKPT Grand Final last November.

All three of them will have their work cut out as Phil Ivey and Antonio Esfandiari are amongst the chip leaders. You can follow all their fortunes using our Live Updates tonight.

Final Three UK Chip Counts
Duvall, Jeff 3,935,000
York, Adam 3,515,000
Akenhead, James 1,655,000
