The first leg of the second season of the popular Sky Poker Tour kicks off this weekend in Manchester on Saturday and they have a special guest. Most UK poker players are snooker loopy anyway, so they will be delighted to hear that 1985 World Champion Dennis Taylor will be in attendance.

SkyBet are offering odds on how he will fair in the event and he is 100-1 to win the event, 10-1 to make the final table and 33-1 to make it to the final three.

Direct Buy-in for PKR Live III
One of the best value events on the UK calendar takes place this month and the seats are selling out fast. This years PKR Live has a $1,000 main event and a $200 bounty side event at the Loose Cannon Club on November 21-22. It's one of the friendliest (and softest) tournaments of the year and its selling out, but you can buy in direct via PKR.
