ross boatman Ross Boatman Wins WPT Marrakech High Rollers
The Hendon Mob are in fine form over in Morocco, as the Boatman brothers both made the final table of the High Rollers event at the WPT Marrakech yesterday, with Ross Boatman taking down the 1st prize. 45 players attended the €9000 main event and Barny Boatman came 4th for €41,017 and his brother Ross defeating Dominik Nitsche heads up for the title and the €135,535 first prize. This caps off a pretty successful last few months for Ross, who has recently came 4th in PLO events at both the WSOP and WSOPE, as well as a 3rd place in the London Poker Circuit.

PaddyPower Announce Oktoberfest
Another great reason to play at Paddy Power Poker this month as the leading Irish bookmakers have announced Oktoberfest, which will award cash players with prizes up to $660 each for reaching daily points targets. The promotion takes place from today until October 31st and prizes are handed out for anyone who accumulates target points for three, six, nine, thirteen and sixteen days during the seventeen-day counting period.

"Oktoberfest rewards cash table players for how much they play; the more points they earn the bigger the cash prize!" said Paddy Power, Communications Manager for Paddy Power Poker. "The prizes go from $5 all the way up to $660 and there is no limit to how many prizes we will hand out; every single cash table player can put in the time and get a prize!"

PartyPoker World Open Final Nearly Settilly
The final table for the Party Poker World Open is nearly set and it looks set to be one of the liveliest finals of the year. Of course trash talking Luke 'Fullflush' Schwartz is there, making his 3rd high profile TV final of the year, but he will really have to compete for air time. Colourful Irishman Andy Black has also made the final, as have the lovebirds Phil Laak and Jennifer Tilly, who are not known for being shy and retiring. We just have one more heat, followed by a runners up heat today, until we play out the final table which will no doubt be must watch TV (And possibly car crash TV) when it's televised later on this year.
