PKR Heads Up Grand Slampkr
More televised poker fun now and PKR are pleased to announce their first TV tournament, the Heads-Up Grand Slam on October 8th to 10th. Taking place at the 3 Mills Studio in London, 32 of the best players in the world will fight for a $100,000 first prize. Tom Dwan, Luke Schwartz, Annette Obrestad, Roland De Wolfe, Sammy George and Roberto Romanello are all amongst the players already confirmed. You can be a part of it by qualifying exclusively on PKR.

Eddie Hearn, Managing Director of Matchroom Sport said, "We have been looking at creating a heads-up event for a while now and I'm excited that we have the formula just right. Shows such as the NBC Heads-Up Championship have attracted huge ratings and we expect this event to continue that trend. There will be a plethora of poker talent gathering in London in October and the names that have already committed look to provide a breathtaking line up."

Simon Prodger, Marketing Director of PKR.com said, "We are excited to work with Matchroom Sport and put Heads-Up poker on the European TV map. The line up is already one of the strongest fields ever seen in the UK and we are offering a unique opportunity for PKR qualifiers to test themselves against the world's best players."

We high carded for $10000 worth of expenses. I ended up having to pay $1750 for Texas tikets. Only a $500 loser on the trip. Skill game.
