UKIPT Galway Festival Starts Today

The PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour kicks off its third season today with the UKIPT Galway festival and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before. All UKIPT Main Events have had their buy-in increased to £700+£70 (Euros for Galway) which should see prize pools swell to sizes never seen before for mid-stakes live tournaments.

The corresponding tournament last year attracted 266 players from around the UK, Ireland and Europe but they were all outlasted by the Ireland-based Canadian Nick Abou Risk who walked away with a bankroll-boosting €67,100 for his efforts on the Emerald Isle.
