BETFAIR Poker Live London is always a highlight on the poker calendar, and this year was no exception, with 157 players turning up for the $100,000 GTD Main Event. Among the regulars from the Fox Poker Club were the usual contingent of Scandinavians, and our Betfair Pros, Hans Vogel and John Tabatabai.
The weekend kicked off in lively style with our Betfair Poker Bust Out Lottery. The final two players in the three-hour timed freeroll tournament won two free packages to the next event in Prague. Also on offer were prizes including two iPad 2s, a Kindle and an Xbox 360.
With a top prize in the two day Main Event of nearly £15,000 for the winner, the final table was a cagey affair. The heads-up battle saw Englishman Leigh Ralph against Roger “The Viking” Johannessen (a Betfair Poker Live regular) from Norway. The final hand saw Ralph move all-in with on a

flop with
but Johannessen was sat with
not miracle turn and river and the first place prize and a package to Betfair Poker LIVE Prague was Johannessen's.
