Short-handed No Limit Texas Hold'em is the most popular forms of poker played online but it is quite rare to see it played in the live arena, especially in tournament format, so when it is spread you simply have to grab the opportunity to play it with both hands.
Today is one of those rare opportunities to play a six-handed tournament thanks to the Dusk Till Dawn poker club in Nottingham. Kicking off at 1400 is the £25,000 guaranteed Six-Max event, a £250+£30 buy-in tournament that should see a bumper crowd descend on the club. Although there is only a single starting day players who bust out during Day 1 can re-enter with a full stack for another £280 but they can only do this once.
The tournament first ran back in October but back then it had a lesser buy-in of £150+£18 yet it still awarded more than £4,700 to the eventual winner James Bott.
If you are planning on playing the £25,000 Guaranteed Six-Max then set off with plenty of time to spare. The weather has been nothing short of awful up and down the country over the past week or so with many delays on the motorways.
