Betfair Poker LIVE London Main Event Gets Underway Saturday

The Betfair Poker LIVE tour stops off at the Fox Poker Club in the heart of London for what should be an action packed weekend in the English capital.

The highlight of the weekend's action is undoubtedly the $650+$50 Main Event that is played as a bounty hunter tournament, meaning players do not even have to make it though to the payout places in order to walk away with something to show for their efforts. $100 from each buy-in is removed from the prize pool and placed on each players head and it is then awarded to whoever busts that player from the main event. The winner of the recent Betfair Poker LIVE Costa Brava Main Event eliminated 13 players in total so added $1,300 to his cash haul!

Last year's Betfair Poker LIVE London Main Event attracted 171 players, creating a prize pool of £39,330. Finnish player Arttu Pitkakangas won the event, taking home the £7,630 first-place prize.
