Palm Beach Big Game Tonight

With Christmas and the New year out of the way it is time to get back down to business and what better way to kick off your year than taking down a major tournament two days into 2012. Well if that sounds right up your street then head down to London for the first Palm Beach Big Game of the year.

The £1,000+£80 Palm Beach Big Game kicks off at, funnily enough, the Palm Beach Casino on Berkley Street, Mayfair at 1900 UK time and late registration is available until 2030. This month's event has an estimate prize pool of £70,000 meaning first place is likely to be worth around £30,000.

December's Big Game ended in a four way chop that saw each player walk away with £14,550 for their efforts. It was Mick Fletcher who was credited with the win followed by David Wall, Benjamin Winsor and Iwan Jones. December's final table was also the home to Teddy Sheringham and Priyan de Mel showing the quality that the tournament attracts.

Previous winners of this event include Hendon Mobster Joe Beevers and this humble scribblers friend Dave "No Shoes" Garden. Could you be adding your name to the list come tomorrow morning?
