The One Way Poker Deepstack event kicks off at 1800 on Saturday 28 January at the Gala Casino in Bristol and it carries a healthy £10,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The buy-in is £100+£10 and for their money players receive a generous stack of 15,000 chips and will play to a 45-minute clock. Not only that but they will also receive a complimentary buffet during the dinner break and will also boost their karma because One Way Poker are donating each of the £10 registration fees to St Peters Hospice in Bristol.
Although a £110 buy-in is more than reasonable in today's game there are satellites running on the One Way Poker online site that are £7 rebuys. What's more, qualify for the Oneway Deepstack online and go on to win the Main Event and they will reward you with a £1,000 sponsorship package!
This particular event is capped at 160 runners, though they will be accepting alternates up to the end of the fourth level. At time of writing there were 92 players registered for the Main Event so if you are planning on playing in Saturday's Main Event is is probably best to register sooner rather than later!
The last One Way Poker live event took place in December 2011 at the Les Croupier casino in Cardiff. A total of 141 runners took part in the £110 deepstack event and it was eventually chopped heads up by Josh Evans and Dillon Herbert who both walked away with £3,522.50 each.
The One Way Poker site is run by the Romanello brothers, of whom Roberto is the most famous and accomplished player. Roberto is on course to become a Triple Crown winner as he has EPT Prague and WPT Bratislava titles to his name, along with almost $2,500,000 in live tournament winning.
If smaller buy-on tournaments are your forte then why not qualify for the Betfair Poker LIVE London Main Event through our exclusive $2,600 freeroll?
