This week in the PartyPoker Weekly we'll tell you about the new stop that was added to the World Poker Tour, how to win WPT packages, the latest from Tony G's blog where he discusses winning the biggest pot of his life in the PartyPoker Big Game V, and more.
The World Poker Tour is known for hosting events in some of the most beautiful places in the world, and you can win your way in! Whether it's the upcoming WPT Amnéville in France, WPT Bohemia in the Czech Republic or the brand new stop in Prague, PartyPoker is the best place to lock up a WPT tournament package.
WPT Prague
It is obvious that World Poker Tour is getting bigger and WPT Prague is the newest destination that's been added to the tour. Poker enthusiasts around the world are itching to become the inaugural WPT Prague Main Event Champion.
WPT Prague begins on Dec. 1 and features a $5,000 buy-in. PartyPoker is the best place to win a $7,500 package that includes the Main Event buy-in, $1,300 spending money, hotel accommodation, and the world renowned hospitality from the team at PartyPoker.
A mix of daily and weekly qualifiers and satellites have already begun on the PartyPoker client, giving players the abilitiy to win their way to the newest WPT location for as little as a couple of dollars or even for free by taking part in the daily freerolls available.
WPT Amnéville
Satellites are now running on the PartyPoker client for WPT Amneville, which kicks off Nov. 1. Last year a massive field of 542 created a prize pool of €1,640,096. Sam El Sayed took down that event and received €426,425 for his efforts.
If you win one of the $8,000 packages on PartyPoker, you'll receive the $5,000 buy-in to the WPT Amneville Main Event, $1,100 spending money, hotel accommodation and the famous PartyPoker hospitality. There are only a few more weeks of qualifying satellites for Amnéville, so be quick!
WPT Bohemia
Taking place just a few days after the Amnéville event wraps up, WPT Bohemia in the Czech Republic is one of the newest stops on the tour. The event is held in the luxurious King’s Casino, a popular casino, which features Europe’s largest poker room.
The Main Event kicks off on Nov. 18 and the affordable $2,150 buy-in is sure to make this a popular stop for tournament players from all around the world. Beginning this week, PartyPoker will offer weekly satellites that will award $3,000 WPT Bohemia packages which include the tournament buy-in, $400 spending money and hotel accommodation for the period of the event.
If you’re not off jet-setting on the World Poker Tour then you should be behind your computers beginning Oct. 23 to take part in the inaugural PartyPoker PokerFest, which features a $3,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Satellites and qualifiers to the PokerFest events are now in full swing, giving players the ability to win their way into the 47 championship events on offer for as little as $1.
“Free drinks all round!” is the latest quote from Tony G’s Blog and it comes in the wake of Tony G winning what he has deemed the “biggest pot of my life.”
The hand in question was played in the televised cash game on a recent episode of the PartyPoker Big Game V, which featured the likes of Mike Matusow, Kristijonas Andrulis, Martins Adeniya and Rob Yong. Not one to shy away from making a scene, when the massive pot was sent to Tony G he got out of his seat and exclaimed, “I’m going to tip like no one has ever tipped before!”
Full details and footage of the hand can be found on Tony G’s Blog.
