Earlier in the week we brought you the news of The Hendon Mob distancing themselves from Full Tilt Poker, bringing to an end a five-year long relationship with the former online poker giant. Now, just a couple of days later, we are informing you that the foursome have signed a deal with Genting Poker for their online and live play.
Genting Poker are a skin on iPoker and have the backing of Genting Casinos who own the Maxims Casinos, Circus Casinos and Mint Casinos so are a huge company with global assets of more than $40 million. Now they have four of Britain's most recognisable poker players on board to giv their poker site more visibility.
In a statement released on their popular website, The Hendon Mob said, “From this point on we are proud and excited to be representing the most dynamic ambitious company on the UK poker scene: Genting Poker. Our partnership spans both live and online poker and provides a unique bridge between the two.” The also mention a number of Hendon Mob related promotions in the pipeline before adding, “We’ll be celebrating this weekend at the Genting Poker Players Championship in Birmingham’s Star City Casino, one of over forty Genting casinos throughout the UK, many of which we will be visiting in the months to come. Some of our future promotions will be specially designed to give our players the opportunity to join us at upcoming Genting events around the country.”
The Hendon Mob are made up of Joe Beevers, Ram Vaswani, Ross Boatman and Barney Boatman and between them they have more than $9,500,000 in live tournament winnings.
