Sam Trickett Chip Leader in Epic Poker League Main Event Final Day

Sam Trickett

The inaugural Epic Poker League Main Event is down to two tables, and UK pro Sam Trickett is leading the pack. The bubble burst when Chino Rheem busted Matt Graham, and now all eyes will be on the $1 million first prize when they play down to a winner tonight.

Trickett really is enjoying one of the most prolific years of anyone in poker right now. Cashing in this event will now take his 2011 winnings to over $3 million (Total winnings over $4.6 million), and in the last 12 months he has made EPT & WPT final tables, won the PartyPoker World Open, and came 1st and 2nd in the two biggest high roller events of the year at the Aussie Millions.

But this is no ordinary tournament, and field is still made up of some of the best players in the world including Jason Mercier, Erik Seidel, Eugene Katchalov, Gavin Smith, Justin Bonomo, and Huck Seed.
