Amazingly while Coventry was hosting the European attendance breaking Goliath, a quick trip up the M1 saw Dusk Till Dawn host 405 players in the APAT World Championships of Amateur Poker. Not only did this festival feature a £100 main event, but a series of side events including Stud, Omaha, Heads-Up and Six Max.
Dave Garden walked away victorious in the main event, defeating Andrew Duffin heads-up for the title and £12,092 first prize. Elsewhere Chris Peers won the heads-up championship, Andrea Lombardi took down the Omaha championship, Liam Batey won the six max event, Wales won the team event, Jon Seal won the stud championship, and Paul McGuiness took down the HORSE event.
