The Genting Poker Players Championship - £10,000 added

Genting

Genting has released details for the second edition of the Genting Poker Players Championship and they make very interesting reading indeed. The two-day event is to be held at the Circus Casino, Birmingham between September 24-25 and will have £10,000 cash added to the prizepool by Genting Poker. In addition to the added cash, the winner of the £150 + £15 Main Event will also take home a £1,500 seat package to the Palm Beach Big Game.

Last year's Main Event saw 305 players take part and it was eventually won by Dominic Kay, who took home £13,300 after defeating John Exley heads-up. The buy-in has been kept the same for the 2011 Genting Poker Players Championship and early indications suggest the eventual prizepool could reach £85,000.

Please note that it is not possible to buy-in for this event at the actual casino as all entries have to be processed online. You can buy-in directly for £150 + £15 at one of Genting Poker's online poker rooms.
