It’s been another big 24 hours for British players at the WSOP. PKR pro Andrew Teng missed out on a bracelet but bagged an impressive $105,262 for a 5th place finish in Event #45: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em.
One player who is having a good WSOP is online phenom Chris Moorman. He has cashed now in his 5th event of the series and is heading for his second final table in Event #46: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em / Six Handed Championship. He is currently 2nd out of 22 players, just ahead of triple crown winner Bertrand Grospellier. Top prize is $1,158,481 and they will play down to a winner tonight.
We also have two big names in the final three tables of Event #47: $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better. At the time of writing we are down to 24 players, and Matthew Ashton and Richard Ashby are in the top ten. Ashby is heading towards his third $10,000 non hold’em final of the series, and Ashton is also making a name for himself, having already made the final of the $10,000 HORSE championship this month.
All three men are already up six figures this series; find out how much more they add to their bankrolls tonight via our WSOP Live Updates.
