The second GUKPT Summer Series concluded this weekend, with twinned events taking place at both G Casino Bolton and Grosvenor Casino Plymouth. Please find attached the full results from the Main and side events.
In Bolton, Stephen Holden won the £500 Main Event, taking £7,140 and 60 GUKPT ranking points for his first place finish. Runner up in this event Colin Mcconaghy went on to finish second in the £100 Bounty Tournament which rounded off the weekend’s Series, giving him total winnings to rival the champion’s. The £200 Double Chance Freezeout starting the week generated a five-figure prize pool and Simon Cawley took the largest bite out of it, winning £3,830.
Plymouth’s Main Event was won by James Wilson, who took £5,000 from the small but tough field prepared to forego the coastal sunshine and join battle at the poker table.
There is still one pair of events remaining in the GUKPT summer calendar, taking place in Sheffield and Southampton from the 7th-10th July. The £500 Main Event will take place on the weekend (9th-10th July) and as ever will feature a 10,000 starting stack, 45 minute clock and optional Re-entry.
You can qualify for every leg of the tour and do so with our exclusive free £11 & £55 tournament token offer, when you join BlueSquare Poker via PokerNews.
