You wouldn’t bet against a 4th British bracelet by this time tomorrow, as some of the best young players in the UK are deep in events #26 and #27, both of which will play down to a winner tonight.
On course to make one of the great back to back WSOP feats, Darren Woods of Cleethorpes is in the final 14 of Event #27: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship. Woods already won the $1,500 limit bracelet earlier this week and has a tough task ahead of him, with names like Barry Greenstein and Justin Smith still in the hunt. A second victory tonight would be one of the all-time great British poker feats, especially as Woods wasn’t much heard of just a week ago.
If that wasn’t enough, we have four UK poker phenoms in the final 22 of Event #26: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em / Six Handed. Could Chris Moorman finally lift that major title we all know is coming? It could be tonight as he is currently second in chips. EPT San Remo champion Rupert Elder is also still in the hunt, as is Samuel Grafton and Daniel Morgan.
Brit bracelets 4 and 5 could be in the bag this weekend, make sure to bookmark our WSOP Live Updates to see who the big Brit winners are tomorrow.
Just 8 VIP points are needed to play in tonight's €1,000 Unibet Open Freeroll, the top 20 also win places in the €6,075 Dublin Finale.
