European Shorthanded Championships Return to Dublin

Euro shorthanded

D4 Events have announced the return of the European Short-Handed Poker Championship. This will be the third year of this 6 max event. 2009 saw Swiss player Raymond Beytrison conquer a field of 141 players. In 2010 it was Irishman Alan Trueick who beat 311 other players as the tournament more than doubled in size.

The 2011 Event is expected to be even bigger again with some great new additions to what is sure to be the biggest 6 max event in Europe. The venue will be once again the Ballsbridge Inn, Dublin.

Winamax are putting up a €150,000 guarantee on the main event! Satellites have already started on winamax.fr and so far more than 75 seats have already been awarded. With nearly 4 months to go and 3 qualifiers gtd every week this number is sure to smash the 150 players who qualified last year.

This event is also set to be a re-entry event, a first for Ireland. Any players who bust out on Day 1a can re-enter the tournament on Day 1B allowing players two opportunities to play. The final table is also set to be streamed live.

The full schedule of events is:
