Chris Moorman is heads up for his first WSOP bracelet in Event #46: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em / Six Handed Championship. He faces Joe Ebanks tonight for the title, and $1.1 million first prize, after play came to an end this morning.
He does face an uphill struggle, however, as Ebanks has an almost 4-1 chip lead over him, after dispatching of Bertrand Grospellier three handed. What Moorman lacks in chips, he makes up for, once again, in a packed and rowdy British rail, who will no doubt be cheering on their man win sore heads tonight.
Both men are guaranteed at least $716,282 for second place, which also takes Moorman’s winnings for this year’s WSOP over $1 million – yet another massive result for the ever growing list of British successes at this year’s WSOP.
| 1 | Joe Ebanks | 11,015,000 |
| 2 | Chris Moorman | 3,215,000 |
