Robert Angood Wins PKR Live VI

Robert Angood

1564 players in Nottingham, 602 players in Cork, hundreds more playing SCOOP, and also a very impressive 243 runners turned up for PKR Live VI at the Fox Poker Club in London. Poker might be in turmoil over in the USA but right now in the UK it is rude health.

Lots of big names in attendance over the weekend for this fast growing event including Neil Channing, Andrew Feldman, Nik Persaud, Priyan de Mel and Jerome Bradpiece. But the honours went to a man who perhaps beats Chris Moneymaker for the most appropriate name in poker, Robert Angood.

R. Angood ran good to beat fellow Londoner Kevin Ayow heads-up for £36,638 and the title, after a four way chop at the final table.
