APAT Welsh Championship This Weekend

Gareth Johns

The third leg of the 2011 APAT season gets underway tomorrow, as Cardiff is set to host the Welsh Amateur Poker Championship. The £75 deepstack affair is at a new home of the Les Croupiers Casino in Cardiff, having previously been held at the Aspers Casino in Swansea where Gareth Johns took down the event for £2,300.

The event has already sold out, as all APAT events do way in advance, but they will be hosting a specialist £25 six max side event on the Sunday. The eventual winner of the series will also bag themselves an added value UKIPT seat courtesy of 888 Poker.

You can buy-in direct or qualify for this event on 888 Poker. If you sign up via PokerNews you will also be eligible for an exclusive daily freeroll series to win one of two $4,500 packages to the World Series of Poker in our Risk Free WSOP promotion. Hurry as today is the final day to qualify!
