The 30th PaddyPower Irish Open has reached the final table, with some familiar Brit names still in the hunt. Old school meets new school as Surinder Sunar and John Eames are still in contention to capture the prestigious title and €550,000 pay day.
WPT champion and UK legend Sunar is in the middle of the pack with 1.3 million. Winning this event would be the second biggest cash of his career, after winning the WPT Grand Prix De Paris in 2004 for €679,860.
In 2nd place currently, John Eames is considered one of the best young players in the UK without a major title. He is one of the most prolific players on the European circuit at the moment, with a 3rd place in EPT Copenhagen, a win in the Full Tilt Spanish Series High Roller Event and several other big results in EPT side events. He already has over $1 million in live tournament results, most of which came in the last 12 months.
