Live satellites for this year’s WPT London have been announced by Party Poker, the satellites are already up and running and can be found each night from 7pm and the Palm Beach Casino, Berkley Square, London and other London destinations are listed below.
These are £300 + 30 WPT shootout satellites with 6 handed tables and a cap of 36 players. Top five places are paid with the 1st place finisher receiving a seat into the WPT London Poker Classic Main Event.
Genting Casinos London Poker Manager Simon Tomsett said: “Our first WPT Shootout at The Palm Beach Casino was an instant sell out and rewarded one seat into the Main Event. There are plenty of good value chances to qualify for the Main Event between now and the 30th August. From the 27th August there are also additional satellites taking place at the Kingsway Hall and May Fair Hotels.”
If you win a seat or enter directly in the WPT London Poker Classic Main event you will find yourself sitting alongside the likes of Erik Seidel, Joe Beevers and Nicholas Levi. They join the likes of Phil Ivey, Tony G, Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott, Alexander Kravchenko, Annette Obrestad, Sorel Mizzi, Dragan Galic, Tyron Krost, Barry Shulman and James Akenhead. You will also find this an extremely professionally run tournament as the Bellagio’s own tournament director – Jack McCelland will be running the show and Doug Dalton will be there to run the cash games are Crockfords.
