Boatman Flying High after Day 1C

The third instalment of day 1 is in the books and more than 2,300 players attended this mammoth starting day, with more expected tomorrow. 1674 remain going into day 2 and we finally have a Brit at the top of the big stacks. Hendon Mobster Barny Boatman had a fantastic day 1 ending on 144,050 which puts him 7th in the day 1C chip counts and top of the overall UK chip stacks so far.

Ireland had a good day too as Sean Prendiville of Dublin who already has two deep finishes so far in the series, ended one spot above Boatman with 148,000. Other UK names returning for day two include the Devilfish and JP Kelly, on an otherwise pretty quiet day for the Brits.
