UKIPT Nottingham Begins Today
What could go down as one of the biggest tournaments of the year in the UK kicks off today at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham from noon. The Pokerstars UKIPT Nottingham has already extended its schedule by a day to cope with demand and this will be the largest event held by the home of UK poker. The £550 main event is expected to be a sell out as is the busy side event schedule.

The next event on the UKIPT schedule is Killarney in Ireland from June 24 and you can qualify for that exclusively at Pokerstars.

WSOP For Life at PartyPoker
These days most poker rooms offer you a little bit extra for qualifying for the World Series of Poker with them, but PartyPoker have really gone one step further by offering you WSOP Main Event Packages for LIFE! There are two ways to bag this once in a lifetime dream package, the first is through a rake race which takes place between 24 May and 20 June. The winner will bag a WSOP for life package and the next three placers will win a 2010 WSOP package, with cash prizes for the next 496 players.

There is also a $300 tournament that is open to all on June 20 with a number of ways to qualify by sub satellite, with the same prize on offer.

You can book your place in the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour event of your choice tonight at BlueSquare Poker tomorrow. At 20:30 GMT on Wednesday there is a £75+£7 rebuy for a £1,450 package to the GUKPT event of your choice and includes money for travel expenses. Sub feeders are running round the clock for this one.
