John Murray Wins APAT UK Amateur Title
Over in London the UK Amateur Poker Championship took place at the Vic , which was the latest leg on the APAT tour. The eventual winner was John Murray of Portsmouth who pocketed £3,500, a Gold Medal and a seat in the GUKPT Main Event of his choice, courtesy of Betfair Poker. Murray is no stranger to success, as he was part of the Ireland Team that took down the 2008 APAT European Team Event.

GUKPT Brighton Champion Bernard Litman won the £250 Pot Limit Hold’em pro league event.

Excitement is really building for the first Pokerstars event to be held at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham and now we have caught details of the side event schedule for the UKIPT. It’s a very varied roster, with six max, women only, bounty and satellites to the next UKIPT event included in the schedule.
