Irish Open Starts Tomorrow
The biggest poker event on the Irish Calendar and one of the biggest in Europe, the PaddyPower Irish Open starts tomorrow. The Irish Open is always one of the most fun tournaments of the year and as usual Pokernews will be there providing cutting edge Live Updates from the event. Last year Christer Johansson beat TV presenter Kara Scott heads up for the €600,000 first prize. As always, PaddyPower are running a book on it and included in the 66/1 favourites for the event are Roland De Wolfe, Praz Bansi, Chris Moorman, Ram Vaswani and Sorel Mizzi.

Rob Yong's Diary Returns to BlondePoker
One of the reasons Dusk Till Dawn owner Rob Yong got the universal backing of the poker world when he wanted to open his poker club (Other than the fact it was a fantastic idea) was because of a very popular diary he had on the BlondePoker forum. Yong not only had a diary on the forum in 2005 for his trip to Vegas, he also had one that documented the rocky road he took to get the club open.

He is back with a third diary which will document his trip to the 2010 World Series of Poker and life after DTD opened. He has announced he is planning on taking 10 players from the club with him to Vegas and is taking requests over which satellite method the club will use. Its already getting a big response and we are following it here.
