UK player Jake Cody has made the final table of the Pokerstars European Poker Tour Deauville Main Event. The 21 year old from Rochdale is second in chips behind Teodor Caraba at a final that includes Mike ‘Timex’ McDonald and WSOP champion Peter Eastgate. Cody, known as ‘neverbluff67’ online, is an online tournament specialist who recently picked up $198,000 for an online win. The former Psychology student is good friends with Italian Poker Tour Champion Matt Perrins of Manchester.
Cody made the final after Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier bubbled in 9th place and now potentially could win the €847,000 first prize tomorrow when we play down to a winner. To follow Cody’s progress check out our exclusive Live Updates from 1.00pm GMT tomorrow.
