The Pokerstars Italian Poker Tour has reached its 6th leg of the year, once again taking place in the popular San Remo from 7th to 14th of December. Expectations for this event are really high, mainly for the overall standing, which will lead to the first Pokerstars.it Italian Champion in the occasion of the next Sanremo EPT (April 2010). The rush for the title is still open, with italian Marco Figuccia (winner of the Nova Gorica IPT) in first position but closely followed by Giovanni Salvatore (winner in Sanremo) and English player Matthew Perrins (who won the IPT in Venice in July).
There are two special events taking place in the latest leg, exclusive to online qualifiers, "The Italian Dream" and "All stars of poker" both promoted by Pokerstars.it, with a Lamborghini up for grabs! Both events will be filmed, as will the final table of the main event. The full schedule of events looks like this:
07/08/09 December - Main Event satellites buy in € 230+20 at 15.00 and 20.00
10/11-/12/14 December - Main Event buy in € 2000+200 at 14.00 (tv coverage)
