Late Night Poker Final Tonight
The show that started it all has reached its 2009 final tonight, with the most stellar line up of all time. This series of Late Night Poker was always going to attract some big names, because of its new sponsor Full Tilt Poker, but check out this line up:
Annette Obrestad
Sam Trickett
Gus Hansen
Timothy West
Patrik Antonius
Huck Seed
Tony G
Luke Schwartz
It's a healthy mix of old school and new school, with a table that isn't afraid to get their money in the middle or mince their words. You can see the climax of this fantastic series at 12:35 tonight/tomorrow morning on Channel 4. Unlike a lot of these TV poker shows that are filmed in advance the outcome is a closely guarded secret, we have no idea who goes onto win it so it should make for fantastic viewing.
Jesse May Interviews Luke Schwartz
Our good friends at Matchroom Poker managed to sit Luke 'Fullflush' Schwartz for a lengthy interview with Jesse May (Bah, amateurs in their television studio with proper cameras and a production team – why not get him on a cameraphone while he was walking out of a casino like Catman did?). He is a lot more laid back than usual but still doesn't pull any punches, with some interesting things to say about the high stakes games, Andrew Feldman, durrrr and of course, Sandwhichgate! Well worth a look:
