Jude Ainsworth Joins Team Pokerstars
Top Irish tournament pro Jude Ainsworth has been unveiled as the newest member of Team Pokerstars. He will be joining them on their UK & Ireland Poker Tour which begins at the Irish Poker Championships in Galway, the event he won in 2008.
Jude said: "I'm really looking forward to competing in the UKIPT and being part of such an exciting tour. Undoubtedly the event I'm most looking forward to is the return to my hometown Galway on the 11th December."
UKIPT Structure Announced
While we are on the subject of the UKIPT, the structure for the main events has been released and.....wow! It has to be the most generous structure ever seen in the UK, especially as some of the main events are just £500. Players start with 30,000 chips and have 60 minute blinds on day 1, with 75 minute blinds thereafter. It is also very gradual, with all the important steadying levels such as 75/150 and 150/300. For full details see the UK & Ireland Poker Tour Structure Page.
