Another great UK centric promotion from Pokerstars.net who really have been spoiling UK players this year. The Bounty Stars of Poker is an exciting way for you to experience the thrill of televised poker for next to nothing. You will play against other online qualifiers live on TV and the winner of the heat will play against a Superstar of the game heads up for £5000. The six part series will be televised on Sky Sports later this year and the winner of each heat will take on one of Pokerstars.net Pros or Celebrities.
The promo is only open to UK players and you need a Pokerstars.net account. You can qualify for free or as little as $1.
There are two qualification periods. The first runs from July 13 to August 9, with daily freerolls and cash satellites that award seats to Weekly Finals, as well as Special VIP Qualifiers (GoldStar VIP and above) that award three seats directly to a TV show. The second qualification period runs from September 28 to November 8 as below. Qualifiers take place at the times stated in the tables. To find the tournaments in thePokerStars lobby, select 'Tourney' and 'Regional', or type 'Bounty Stars' into the Event Filter. There will be freerolls, 100FPP qualifiers and $1 buy-in events.
Each Weekly Final also has a prize pool of $1,000, and pays out the top 15% of finishers. The top finisher of each Weekly Final will be invited to play in a televised show ofBounty Stars of Poker, and receive $500 for travel expenses.
