Beautiful Venice Hosts Italian Poker Tour Action!

After a successful first stop in San Remo, the Italian Poker Tour (IPT) sponsored by Pokerstars.it, now lands on the shores of the famous Venice lagoons from July 27th to August 2nd.

The never ending charm of Venice and the luxurious rooms of the Casinò "Ca' Vendramin" which face the famous Canal Grande are great reasons to travel to this big tournament. Top players from all over Europe have been filling IPT events that make up the biggest Texas Hold'em tour ever organized in Italy.

Title sponsor PokerStars.it will be providing a top quality event with experienced tournament staff. Events are structured in the EPT format in order to allow a high level game, with enough time to play hands and let the players abilities emerge. The tournament is directed by famous Italian player and Team Pokerstars Pro Luca Pagano, along with his father Claudio who has been working in the Italian Poker market for nearly 10 years.

At the beginning of June, the Italian Poker Tour's Sanremo event was a great success, with 255 players paying the €2200 buy in building a prize pool of almost €500 000! The top class event attracted professional players and a poker stars such as Isabell "no mercy" Mercier.

€250 Satellites to the €2000 IPT Venice main event will be played at 15:00 and 21:00 from the 27th to 29th of July in the other venetian casino "Ca' Noghera". But the biggest events will start on 28th , when the tournament moves to the beautiful Casinò "Ca' Vendramin" for the main and the side events.
