paddypowerlogo Let's be honest, Paddy Power Poker would probably celebrate the making of a cup of tea with an added money promotion, so something as big as the Olympics is surely going to attract some serious free wonga.

The PPP Olympics is a series of money-added tournaments inspired by the Beijing Olympics, which culminates in a $15,000 Gold Medal Freeroll.

Every night between the 8th and 14th of August there will be twice nightly PLO and Hold'em events with between $250 and $1000 added to the prize funds. Players that take part in at least three PPP Olympics will qualify for the Gold Medal Freeroll on August 15th. This tournament will feature a $4500

Irish Winter Festival package for the winner and a number of satellite tickets and $10,000 of prize money added for good measure.

"I know there is a lot of excitement right now about the small sporting event due to take place in Beijing in August, but we wanted to offer something even more exciting for our players" said Paddy Power, Communications Manager for Paddy Power Poker. "We're giving away over $20,000 to those players willing to show us they're at the top of their game and trying to get on the podium – for those who have been in training these last few months, it is now time to grab their spandex, shave all their body hair and reach out for the gold medal!"

All Paddy Power Poker tournaments can be accessed via the poker software lobby; select 'Scheduled Tournaments' and either 'All Scheduled', 'Satellites', 'Freerolls' or 'Beginners' as required, or select 'Specials'. All of The PPP Olympics tournaments will be listed under the 'All Scheduled' and 'Specials' options.
