It's hard to think back to a time when the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club was fighting for their right to open their doors for the first time. Now the only fully licensed poker club in Europe is booming, having just held its first major festival in the shape of the Norwegian Poker Championships and, if the rumours are true, about to host a good number of similar events this year.
Just under six months after their grand opening and way ahead of schedule, Dusk Till Dawn will become a seven days a week club at the start of June. They began life opening only between Thursday and Sunday but the demand has been so huge that you can now get a game of poker in Nottingham any day of the week.
There will also be several events running alongside each other daily and DTD have introduced rebuy events due to popular demand. All this and of course the regular cash games that are on offer around the clock:
Monday 8pm £30 + £5 No Limit Freezeout DTD Scalp event 3000 chips 24 minute clock. Cap 180.
Tuesday 8pm £30 + £5 No Limit Unlimited Rebuys 1500 chips 2 x 40 minute levels for rebuys/add on then 24 minute clock. Cap 180
Wednesday 8pm £25 + £5 No Limit Freezeout 3000 chips 24 minute clock. Cap 180

Thursday 8pm £50 + £5 No Limit Freezeout 4000 chips 24 minute clock. Cap 180
Friday 8pm £20 + £5 No Limit Unlimited Rebuys 1500 chips 2 x 40 minute levels for rebuys/add on then 20 minute clock. Cap 180
Saturday 8pm £200 + £20 No Limit Freezeout Double Chance, chips 3000 + 3000 , 30 minute clock. Cap 135
8.30pm £50 + £5 No Limit Freezeout 4000 chips 24 minute clock. Cap 180
8pm £100 + £10 No Limit Unlimited Rebuys 2500 chips 2 x 40 minute levels for rebuys/add ons then 24 minute clock.
Simon Trumper of DTD commented; "The reason there is now a mix of rebuys and freezeouts is once we open 7 days having freezeouts every night would dilute the size of the fields also effecting the cash games. The smaller rebuys are there to attract more players and therefore bigger prizepools which in turn will encourage new players to travel. Don't assume that DTD will start running crapshoot events with 1000 chips and 50 100 starting blinds, our events will always have the best structures."
The evolution of Dusk Till Dawn has surpassed the high expectations everyone has had of it and it certainly looks like the club is here to stay. Trumper added; "We have only been open 5 and a half months , by November we will have a very clear picture of what to provide going into year 2 but to do this we have to try different events and we hope our new schedule will attract many new players as well as all our regulars and make Dusk Till Dawn even busier than it is which is when it has the best atmosphere."
