Sixth Annual Irish Poker Classic confirmed for August

Ireland is possibly the greatest place in Europe to play poker, which is why we are very excited at the prospect of the Sixth Annual Irish Poker Classic, details of which have been announced today. At the Macau Sporting Club in Cork between the 11th and 17th of August, the main event has a €150,000 guarantee.
Deep stack poker is huge in Ireland and this event as 15,000 staring stacks and 75 minute levels, which means a lot of play for your €1500+€100 entry fee. There is also a varied side event schedule, which includes a PLO, ladies event, shorthanded event and even a WSOPE satellite.
The prospect of Ireland and deep stacks has attracted some big names already, and Annette Obrestad,
Roy "The Boy" Brindley, Mick McCloskey, Sylvester Geoghegan, Marty Smyth, Paul Lecky, Nicky Power, and John Keown are already confirmed for the main event.
