The sweetest poker event in Europe is back in the form of the EPT Season Five. PokerStars released the much anticipated schedule today. The tour is bringing back the Deauville, France event amongst the nine events. The kick-off Event will be in Barcelona, Spain.
This is the Schedule for Season 5:
EPT Barcelona Open: September 10-14th 2008, at the Casino Barcelona. The Main Event will be €8,000 + 250 with a cap of 700 players.
EPT London : October 1-5th 2008, at the Victoria Casino in London, England. The Main Event will be £5,200 + 200 with a player limit of 500.
EPT Budapest : October 28-November 1st, at the Las Vegas Casino in the Sofitel Hotel in Budapest, Hungary. The Main Event will have a buy-in of €4,350, and there is a limit of 500 entrants.
EPT Polish Open: November 15-19th 2008, at the Warsaw Hyatt Regency in Warsaw, Poland. Main Event buy-in of ZI (Zloty) 20,000 + 1000.
EPT Prague: December 9-13th 2008, at the Hilton Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. The buy-in is €5,000 + 250 with a limit of 600 players.
EPT French Open: January 20-24th 2009, at the Casino Barriere in Deauville, France. The buy-in will be €5,000 + 300 with a player cap of 700.
EPT Scandinavian Open: February 17-21st 2009, at the Casino Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. The entry fee will be 50,000 + 2,250 DKR with a limit of 500 players.
EPT German Open: March 10-14th 2009, at the Casino Hohensyburg in Dortmund, Germany. The entry fee will be €5,000 + 250 with a player cap of 500.
EPT San Remo: April 18-23rd 2009, at the Casino San Remo in San Remo, Italy. The buy in will be €5,000 + 250 with a player limit of 800.
EPT Grand Final: April 28-May 3rd 2009, at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The entry fee will be €10,000 + €600 with a player cap of 1000.
The boss of the EPT John Duthie said with the release of the schedule "The new EPT season includes all the events which have made the past four seasons such a triumph with record fields across Europe and record prize pools. We have set very high standards and aim to improve on this still further in Season 5."
