Spring's poker events in Salzburg

Germany leads the way and Austria follows: Poker and its tournaments are becoming more and more "trendy". Therefore it is no big surprise that Casinos Austria have announced the Casinos Austria Poker Tour 2008.

From 3 March to 9 March 2008 Salzburg hosts the next highlight on the Austrian calendar – the poker triathlon. The name gives it away - there will be three tournaments in three days.

First up is a €200 Seven Card Stud Freezeout on March 7, on March 8th a €100 Pot Limit Omaha tournament including one rebuy and one add on and March 9th a €300 No Limit Hold'em Freezeout.

There will be an overall ranking for which you collect points participating in any of the tournaments mentioned above. Being on top of the scoreboard gets you the buy in for the €2000 CAPT main event in Salzburg!

This tour is actually a must for poker fans and upcoming pros. Between March 30 and April 4 Castle Klessheim in Salzburg offers the finest place for playing poker. The castle, the event, the ambience makes it a great place to play.

In the course of the CAPT Salzburg a €1000 No Limit Hold'em Freezeout takes place on April 3. €110 Satellites to this tournament are on Mondays from February 24 onwards.
